About the event

LEEDY FOUNDATION FRIDAY

Preserving Jim Leedy’s Legacy Series

Join Stephanie Leedy, daughter of Jim Leedy, on the final Friday of each month, 1–2 p.m., for a brief look at her father’s life, work, and the beginnings of LeedyVille; the artist community he built over four decades and his lasting impact on Kansas City as the “Father of the Crossroads.”

D2 Research will provide a brief look at the process of documenting, cataloging, and archiving artwork, photographs, and historical materials, offering a glimpse into how the stories behind the work are recorded and protected.

About the Leedy Foundation

The Leedy Foundation is dedicated to preserving Jim Leedy’s artistic legacy and the history of the artists and creative community connected to LeedyVille, while helping carry that legacy forward for future generations.
